Why NatAxtin is made as nature intended.

Flamingos.

Their beautiful pink color comes from an extraordinary nutrient in their diet which few people know is the most potent antioxidant that nature provides — Astaxanthin.

Astaxanthin’s only natural source is the freshwater microalgae Haematococcus pluvialis, which produces the antioxidant, along with other carotenoids, to survive the lack of water and food. Thanks to this Astaxanthin-rich carotenoid complex, the microalgae can survive draught for up to 40 years and restart its vegetative stage after the conditions for life are restored.

Only one place on Earth provides the ideal conditions for the microalgae to produce the best Astaxanthin. The Atacama Desert in Chile is the world’s driest desert and the place that receives the highest amount of solar radiation. This harsh yet pristine environment exposes the microalgae to such extreme conditions that it responds by creating a unique carotenoid complex that is a characteristic mark of its survival—a “scar,” in a way.

The clear skies and the intense sun of the Atacama Desert allows Atama bio to culture the microalgae in a sustainable way that resembles nature. And more importantly, that yields a more potent antioxidant.

NatAxtin is made as nature intended and has the optimal mix of Astaxanthin and carotenoids.
